Will I ever be able to travel like I used to? Will anyone?

No problem.
DIY a quick and easy postcard out of packaging from your most crucial pandemic supplies ie: girl scout cookie and beer boxes!
Here’s how:
– Flatten the box.
– Cut a 4×6 rectangle
– If there’s writing inside the box you can glue some plain paper to cover it.
– And if you’re feeling extra fancy you can use some colored tape around the edges and Sharpie to mark the lines on the back.
– Write your note, stamp it and send it.
Eating the cookies and drinking the beer not required…

My family=home.

I hold you in my heart with every breath, every step and every moment i’m out ‘there.’
Rock your world, babe.
xoxo

I am writing this card because I felt so helpless witnessing their interaction and because I want to wish them both love.

The patients share an unspoken camaraderie. For us, life or whatever was left of it was clear: You felt pain or you didn’t.; you had family who visited or you didn’t; you’d open your eyes in the morning or you didn’t.
We’d wheel into each other’s rooms; say hello; maybe sit for awhile. No one asked what… or when.
More often we just sat quietly together. It was there for the first time I knew: This must be LOVE.

Dishwashing is the chore that most influences relationship quality.” – NY Times, Feb 20, 2020

I ADORE YOU!
Thank you for always being there for me no matter what.
Love,
Your #1 admirer

or felt the sting of getting less than others.
It’s a valentine for anyone for whom valentine’s day has been
full of heartache instead of joy.
It might not mean much but I feel you and I LOVE YOU.
This one’s for you.

I haven’t received one in a long time.
I hadn’t written one either…. until now.
