I love to travel. It has been one of the great blessings of my life.
Will I ever be able to travel like I used to? Will anyone?

love is an act of the soul
For the love of friendship she sent postcards of love.
I WANT LOVE LIKE THIS!!!
Thank you nurses, hospital cleaners, doctors, postal workers, teachers, delivery people, grocery workers!
No postcard?
No problem.
DIY a quick and easy postcard out of packaging from your most crucial pandemic supplies ie: girl scout cookie and beer boxes!
Here’s how:
– Flatten the box.
– Cut a 4×6 rectangle
– If there’s writing inside the box you can glue some plain paper to cover it.
– And if you’re feeling extra fancy you can use some colored tape around the edges and Sharpie to mark the lines on the back.
– Write your note, stamp it and send it.
Eating the cookies and drinking the beer not required…
 I ❤️my family.
My family=home.
Stay home.

I hold you in my heart with every breath, every step and every moment i’m out ‘there.’
Rock your world, babe.
xoxo
There was a middle aged couple in the parking lot at the post office this afternoon. They were in a nice car and well dressed. As the woman was gathering her packages to take inside she flung open the passenger door where the man was seated and began yelling at him. She threw the packages on the ground and was screaming something about addresses and packaging. Then she put her red face right next to his and yelled at the top of her lungs, “You embarrass me!” and went inside the post office.

I am writing this card because I felt so helpless witnessing their interaction and because I want to wish them both love.
I remember that floor – essentially palliative care. The Baptist preacher made regular rounds like a buzzard, until nurses shooed him away.
The patients share an unspoken camaraderie. For us, life or whatever was left of it was clear: You felt pain or you didn’t.; you had family who visited or you didn’t; you’d open your eyes in the morning or you didn’t.
We’d wheel into each other’s rooms; say hello; maybe sit for awhile. No one asked what… or when.
More often we just sat quietly together. It was there for the first time I knew: This must be LOVE.

I LOVE YOU!!!
“Male-female couples whose housework is shared have less strife, as well as greater relationship satisfaction and sexual intimacy than those in which the burden falls largely to the women.
Dishwashing is the chore that most influences relationship quality.” – NY Times, Feb 20, 2020
To the world’s most perfect food,
I ADORE YOU!
Thank you for always being there for me no matter what.
Love,
Your #1 admirer
You are my sunshine.
Do you have a song that makes you feel this way?
I am loved.
This is a valentine for all the kids who didn’t get any
or felt the sting of getting less than others.
It’s a valentine for anyone for whom valentine’s day has been
full of heartache instead of joy.
It might not mean much but I feel you and I LOVE YOU.
This one’s for you.
Handwritten love notes are so powerful… and such a beautiful act of generosity.
I haven’t received one in a long time.
I hadn’t written one either…. until now.
